We don’t get much stability from the royals, just look at the masses of upheaval we’ve had since the end of the war. Look at Brexit! The royals are a token nod towards our feudal past, and as unnecessary as they are expensive to keep! Personally, I find Liz interesting as an individual, and admire her for how long she’s stuck to her guns and kept “ruling”/working well into her old age. But that’s not to say she’s necessary or needed.
