It’s so interesting that you say “anger hormones”. Usually the word “hormonal” is used to belittle women and accuse them of being overly emotional or hysterical. So few people, especially those socialised as male, are ready to acknowledge that men are hormonal too and that the effects of these hormones can be incredibly dangerous. Women in leadership often have their competency questions —can they be trusted to leave when it’s their “time of the month” — whereas the side-effects of hormones stronger in males are considered generally desirable: aggression is seen as ambition or strength, alpha domination is seen as leadership, etc.

Thank you for putting a hand up and saying “I’m hormonal”, it’s a bigger deal than you might perhaps think.
