I have this problem in Germany, too. Coming from the UK, where it’s illegal to smoke indoors and in most public places, it was quite a shock to see how many people smoke indoors here. Almost every restaurant has at least a smoking section, and bars are a nightmare. I’ve been pregnant for the last nine months (so very nearly finished!!) and I’ve had to pretty much abolish my social life because I can’t attend any festivals, nights out or even dinners without being surrounded by smokers.
