Exactly! This was what I was thinking. Full reviews don’t do very well on Instagram, so a lot of bookstagrammers give up writing them in favour of pretty book photos (which, I’ll admit, I still drool over). I’m hoping we can combine the aesthetics of Instagram book blogging with actual quality reviews by switching over to Medium.

If you’d like, you could retroactively submit this article as your first via The Open Bookshelf — I absolutely love the tone and the concept! I’d have to reformat a little (title + subtitle, for example) to match the others we’ve published, but I’d love to feature it.
