A lot of bookstagrammers, myself included, often post a “happy pub day” post for the books they’ve received, but haven’t yet gotten around to reading. So it’s worth mailing a copy, if you can, ahead of your publication date.

Definitely be patient with us! Those with slightly bigger accounts often receive a lot of new releases, sometimes overloading ourselves.
